Overview

The communication, membership, decision, and conflict decks still showed five cards and opened every field at once. This change uses the engine’s compact seven, opens a card as a list of its parts, and lets someone write each part from an empty field with Generate draft before adding the card to the Rule.

See all searches the deck. Unselected compact cards can show a why line and one alternative; a selected card keeps its catalog copy. Unselected applicable-scope chips use a stronger outline so the chip edge is easier to see.

Changes

  • Compact stacks show up to seven cards. See all appears only when the deck is longer than that.
  • Card click opens a routing overlay: one row per part, empty field plus Generate draft, Save back to the list, then Add to Rule. A selected card uses Save and Deselect (Remove stays in the kebab).
  • See all includes Search this deck. Compact unselected cards can show a why line and one alternative under the card. Selected cards keep catalog copy and SELECTED. RECOMMENDED stays off the compact seven and only shows under See all.
  • Decision applicable scope offers the signed-off default chips (Changing the Rule, Money, Projects, Asking someone to leave) plus the coverage checklist. Unselected chips outline with the tertiary content color so the edge meets contrast on the dark field.
  • Copy lives in messages/. Layout stays the shared two-column question-and-options shell with a single stack of rows.

How to Test

  1. npm run dev, then open /create/communication-methods, /create/membership-methods, /create/conflict-management, and /create/decision-approaches.
  2. Compact: seven cards, no RECOMMENDED tag before answering setup questions, no See all if a deck has seven or fewer cards.
  3. Click a card: overlay lists the parts, not three or four text boxes. Click a part: empty field and Generate draft. Save returns to the list. Add to Rule selects the card and shows SELECTED. Reopen: Save and Deselect; Remove remains in the kebab.
  4. See all: Search this deck filters the list (try “Signal”).
  5. Decision approaches: open Applicable scope and confirm chips for Changing the Rule, Money, Projects, Asking someone to leave, plus Shared money / Changing this Rule. Unselected chip outlines should be easy to see on the dark field.
  6. With setup answers filled, compact unselected cards may show a why line and an alternative; a selected card should keep catalog copy and hide the alternative.
  7. Customize / Duplicate / field-block custom policies should still open the structured body, not the routing list.

Notes

  • Why-line and alternative copy is draft until Dani signs off.
  • Phone overlay frames were not invented; this is the desktop routing overlay.
  • The compact seven stays a single column of rows in the shared create-flow shell, not a centered tile grid.02-routing-overlay.png03-generate-draft.png04-see-all-search.png05-applicable-scope-chips.png
