Account deletion sat in the same profile options list as routine actions such as creating a rule. This moves it into its own danger area while keeping the existing row: a document icon, a red “Delete account” label, and a chevron. The confirmation dialog is unchanged, and its confirm button uses the danger style.
Changes
Removed “Delete account” from the Your Options list on the profile page.
Added a separate danger area under that list: a dark red surface, a red border, and one list row with a red label. The icon and chevron stay the default color.
A danger list row now colors only the label.
Added profile tests for the separated area and the confirmation dialog.
How to Test
Sign in and open /profile.
Confirm “Your Options” ends at “Change your account email” and does not include “Delete account.”
Confirm a separate red-bordered area below that list shows “Delete account” in red, with a white document icon and chevron, and no extra heading or explanation.
Click the row. The dialog should ask you to confirm, and “Delete my account” should be the red outline button.
Run npx vitest run tests/pages/profile.test.tsx.
Notes
The profile design still shows “Delete account” as the last row of the options list. This keeps that row and places it in its own area so deletion is not grouped with routine actions.
