Cassandra’s interests include queer theory, gender representation and media’s role in norm evolution. Cassandra holds a BA in sociology and film studies from the University of Colorado.

**[Rachel Nyhart](https://www.colorado.edu/cmci/people/graduate-students/rachel-nyhart)** is passionate about community involvement in creating inclusive public spaces. Currently she is pursuing her master's in Media and Public Engagement from CU Boulder and a master's in Urban and Regional Planning at CU Denver. In merging the two programs, Rach hopes to dive deep into conversations on public engagement. Her goal is to create public spaces where all members of society, especially traditionally marginalized groups, feel and know that they belong.
