# Process

Work in MEDLab takes place through various project-based circles (see [Governance](governance.md) for more on those). Each circle has a room in the Matrix [chat space](technology.md) where it coordinates and organizes. Use the chat space as your primary communications medium, ensuring that there is transparency with other circle members. Self-organize with your circle!

We typically have a weekly meeting in person and a shared meal once or twice each semester. |
