Feedback from the 2024.04.21 workshop with OpenCivics raised a few ideas about providing users with more context:

  • Explain more about what standpoint means
  • Change "description" to being more about "additional context" or the like
  • Introduce a kind of directionality—what is the point or payoff of doing this?

Additionally, can the analysis section give a health diagnosis of a protocol?

  • Highlight signals of ill-health
  • Explore balance

  • Nudge the user toward slowing down, focusing, reflecting
  • Colorful sentiment visualizations
  • Focus on power dynamics
  • Could the bicorder detect harmful dynamics and suggest correlative gradients that could be changed to mitigate?
    • For instance: "constraining" is often correlated with term x on gradient y. To make the protocol less constraining, try to change the behaviors or design related to y away from x.
